Dealing with sudden tragedy can make you feel feel helpless and lost; it is hard to imagine that things will ever go back to normal. Trauma can also make you feel damaged and different, creating a sense of hopelessness. We work with you to reach a new understanding and come to terms with what you have been through. The fact that you have survived is a testament to how strong you are; we help you to acknowledge the strength you have and find support in family and friends who understand. We encourage you to give credit for the strides you have already made, instead of beating yourself up or ruminating on destructive thoughts.
